Kelp Seaweed Tablets
A licensed herbal medicine for the symptomatic relief of poor hair growth and pigmentation and an aid in the treatment of obesity and the relief of rheumatic pain in dogs and cats. Fucus vesiculosis is the species of Kelp that we use in these tablets as it has the highest content of minerals and trace elements. As well as containing medicine grade Kelp powder, these sugar coated tablets also benefit from the addition of concentrated Kelp extract to increase the strength and effectiveness. Due to their high mineral content they improve coat growth and pigmentation as well as being an excellent way to ensure that adequate minerals are provided in an easily assimilated organic form. The high iodine content in these tablets means that when given in conjunction with a suitable diet, they stimulate the metabolism and so aid weight loss, making them an effective aid in the treatment of obesity.
For dogs and cats that are prone to skin problems associated with over-heating, Kelp should only be given sparingly during hot weather. Due to its high iodine content this tablet is not recommended for animals below 5kgs in weight, or those with a thyroid condition, except on veterinary advice.

Comfrey & Calendula Balm (Organic)- 30g
For use on dry, scaly or damaged skin. This soothing balm, contains ingredients that are organically produced and traditionally used for their effective soothing and comforting properties. Apply regularly until all signs of soreness, dryness or irritation have disappeared. Care should be taken when using any product near the eye area.

Glucosamine & Chondroitin tablets
To complement our licensed medicines to treat arthritis, Garlic & Fenugreek tablets and Mixed Vegetable tablets, we recently introduced this popular joint supplement. We use top quality Glucosamine hydrochloride (HCL) because it is better absorbed by dogs and enhances the body's ability to manufacture collagen and proteoglycans. These are essential for rebuilding joints and increasing synovial fluid to lubricate the joints. We have chosen not to add lots of additional things into this formulation but to simply produce a top quality supplement with pharmaceutical grade Glucosamine and marine based Chondroitin sulphate. Healthy animals produce enough Glucosamine themselves to keep their cartilage healthy, but in older animals where wear and tear is starting to cause problems or following injury or damage they often require a little bit more to keep their joints healthy. Chondroitin has a number of functions but ultimately works synergistically with the glucosamine.

Ingredients: Glucosamine HCL 400mg; Chondroitin Sulphate 200mg (marine source).

Evening Primrose Oil capsules
Our capsules contain only premium grade oil with a 9% Gamma Linolenic Acid (GLA) content and have added vitamin E to maintain the skin in good condition. The high level of essential fatty acids in our Evening Primrose Oil make it excellent for maintaining healthy skin condition, reducing scurfiness and alleviating dry skin problems. The extremely high level of GLA in the oil we use promotes coat growth and so is invaluable to give during the moult or where excessive hair loss has occurred. It is ideal for breeds with long silky coats and when given regularly it will maintain the good quality coat that these breeds require. Evening Primrose Oil is also well known for its stabilising effect on hormone imbalances. Veterinary advice should be sought before giving Evening Primrose Oil to animals that suffer from epilepsy. Mixed Vegetable tablets
A licensed herbal medicine for the symptomatic relief of arthritis, rheumatism, skin and kidney disorders, and as a diuretic to aid normal urinary elimination in dogs and cats. This combination of common English green leaf herbs is used to relieve the pain of arthritis and rheumatism and so make movement easier and improve the mobility problems that often occur in older animals. Its mildly diuretic effects helps to ensure and maintain normal urinary flow and by regulating the acid/alkali balance it is helpful for cystitis and the incontinence problems that may occur in some animals as they get older. The combination of herbs in this tablet help to reduce acidity and cool the skin and so reduce the irritation associated with many common skin complaints. This uncoated tablet can be crushed for easy administration if preferred and is particularly effective when given in combination with Garlic & Fenugreek tablets to provide a comprehensive herbal treatment.

Garlic & Fenugreek tablets
A licensed herbal medicine for the symptomatic relief of skin conditions, arthritis, coughs and minor infections in dogs and cats. This stronger sugar coated Garlic tablet has the added synergistic benefit of Fenugreek, making a superb herbal combination that when given regularly increases resistance to infections by stimulating the immune system. It is widely used to treat minor infections, such as inter-digital cysts, eczema, pyoderma, cystitis and coughs, as well as being particularly effective in the treatment of arthritis and skin complaints when given in conjunction with our Mixed Vegetable tablets. Garlic has long been renowned for its antibiotic, antiseptic and anti-viral properties and this has been confirmed by modern scientific studies, which also show its ability to help with the removal of toxins from the system.

Active Ingredients: Powdered Fenugreek 16mg, Essential Oil of Garlic 0.22mg.

Scullcap & Valerian tablets
A licensed herbal medicine for the symptomatic relief of anxiety, nervousness, excitability and travel sickness, and an adjunct in the treatment of epilepsy in dogs and cats. The ultimate herbal combination in a sugar-coated tablet, invaluable to calm and relax dogs and cats suffering from excitability, apprehension, phobias or hyperactivity. Widely used and particularly effective for those suffering from noise phobias as a result of fireworks, thunderstorms or gunfire. Does not cause drowsiness or impair normal behaviour or performance, making it suitable for those who just need to be settled for showing, travelling, training or obedience work. Given before a journey this tablet will calm nervous travellers but is also ideal if new surroundings and situations cause apprehension or anxiety, making it a useful training aid for young dogs being introduced to the show ring as well as thunderstorms, fireworks, visits to the vet etc. In cats, it is also effective in the control of territorial spraying by keeping the cat relaxed and so reducing the urge to mark territory. This is more often a problem in neutered males but is a behaviour that can also be found in dominant females also. Under veterinary supervision Scullcap & Valerian tablets are used in the control of epilepsy, often in conjunction with orthodox anti-convulsant drugs. Not recommended for pregnant or lactating females.
